Zoom North America has announced the promotion of Eric Battin to vice president of sales and planning.

Battin graduated from DePaul University with a degree in business management. He joined Zoom North America at its inception in 2013 as its very first associate. He initially handled many facets of the work required, from sales and marketing to warehousing and shipping, according to the company. In 2014, Battin was promoted to U.S. national sales manager, and has been key to Zoom’s sales growth over the past eight years. As VP of sales and planning, he will continue to be a member of Zoom’s sales team, reporting to Senior VP of Sales, Dan Gallagher. Additionally, Battin will be responsible for managing and implementing the company’s planning across its various departments.
